OAKES - Alan George (Oakey). Passed away peacefully, at The Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House, on Wednesday, March 22, after a heroic 17 month battle with motor neurone disease, aged 51. Darling partner of Roz, devoted father of Daniel, Kieran and Reuben, and grandad of Elliot. Beloved brother of Sharon, loving son of the late George and Janet Oakes. Much-loved step-son of Jane and step-brother of Darren. Alan (Oakey) will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. Life has flown, treasured memories remain. Funeral service at Mintlyn Crematorium, on Tuesday, April 4, at 1.45pm. Family flowers only please.
