McRAE (Peterculter) Ian passed away peacefully at A.R.I. on Saturday, March 21, 2020, aged 62 years, with his family by his side. Beloved father to his five sons; Steven, Alan, Ryan, Ewan and Craig, much loved Granda to Maisy and Max and sadly missed by wife Carolyn and daughter-in-law Katy. Thank you to all the nurses and staff at Pitcairn Lodge Care Home for all their loving care and a special warm thanks from the family to Billy. A private cremation will be held at Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes.

My dear, dear Carolyn,
Jim and I are truly shocked . as only found out today, that you sadly , have lost your soul mate.
We both send our heartfelt condolences to you and all the family !!!
We both have wonderful memories of Ian in of years gone by ,especially all the fun times in Brechin. Ian was so talented and agood mate. He made my 21st invites for free as I was a "skint " nurse..
Sadly we never were good at keeping in touch once we moved to Singapore, and we both are truly sorry for that,
but know we thought of you often and hopefully can get in contact again.
Sending you much love and bosies for these difficult days ahead.
