SMITH Lilian, Alex, Ruth, Denis and Joy wish to convey their thanks to all relatives and friends for the many very kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by cards, telephone calls, personal callers, practical acts of kindness and the prayerful, support of many in the home call of Garth, a dear husband, son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Grateful thanks to the staff of Marie Curie Hospice, Solihull where Garth spent his final days, for the excellent and compassionate care he received, to Pastor David Wilson and Mr Findlay Mair for their uplifting words of comfort, to Funeral Directors George S. Munn & Co. for their caring and professional funeral arrangements and finally to all who paid their last respects at the Chapel and graveside (some who travelled a considerable distance to be there) and kindly donated the sum of £560 to the Melanoma Fund UK.
