All about us C P Coombe Funeral Service was privately owned by Charles Coombe, the local builder and Funeral Director. The funeral home was run from his home in Glenmoor, Moss Side, Callington where he built a Chapel of Rest, which was opened and dedicated in 1970 by the local Rev’d Broadhurst. Charles was greatly supported by his wife Molly Coombe, serving the local community and surrounding area of Callington. Charles still took an active role in the business up until 2012. “C P Coombe Funeral Service still retains its name and has remained in the same premises since 1970.” The business has grown over the years expanding its services and holding an annual Service of Remembrance each Christmas to remember lost loved ones.
