Founded in 1938 through the partnership of Trevor Collier and John Brain, the company established itself in the village of Drybrook as a dignified funeral director serving the needs of the bereaved in the local districts. The company thrived throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s and eventually transferred the ownership from the original founder’s families to Ernest Heal & Sons Independent Family Funeral Directors who already had a long association with the business.
